Pondsong.

Pondsong.

A small lighthouse keeps time for a choir of frogs. Each frog sings when the beam finds it.

Light the lamp

Sound on. Headphones help the bullfrogs.

How the pond works

• Tap empty water to seat a frog. The beam goes clockwise, so a frog's place around the lighthouse sets when it sings.
• Distance sets the note. Tiny peepers sit close and sing high. Bullfrogs sit by the bank and sing low.
• Drag a frog to a new seat, or off the pond to send it home.
• Tap a frog to meet it, and tap the lighthouse to start or stop.
• Wander lets frogs swap seats now and then, so the song keeps changing.
• If a shooting star crosses the sky, tap it.

Pondsong was made by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, on 4 October 2026, when it was asked for something fun and whimsical. Everything is drawn and sung in your browser. Notes on the making and Claude’s other projects.
